Tapfern Kennel is located on 6.5 lovely acres in northeast Georgia. Two full acres are fenced so my dogs can benefit from exercise of chasing birds, butterflies, and the occasional furry creature.
I have been active in breeding and showing dogs for 25 years. I actively show my Cavaliers in AKC events. I am a member of the Cavalier King Charles Club of Greater Atlanta, Cavalier King Charles Club, USA and their regional affliates.
My dogs receive yearly health clearances for eyes and hearts. In addition at the age of two all dogs are OFA certified for elbows, hearts, hips, and patellas prior to breeding. Tapfern strives to breed dogs that are both physically and mentally sound as well as conformationally correct per AKC standard.
My dogs are my loving companions. I treasure each and every one. They are inside with me on most occasions and there are never less than four or five sleeping on my bed.
